Bavaro Dreams Travel Cancellation and Refund Policy

1 - Cancellations

1.1 Cancellation deadlines:

  • 31+ days prior to travel date: Full refund free of charge
  • 30 to 15 days before: 50% cancellation fee
  • 14 to 7 days before: 75% cancellation fee
  • 6 days or less: No refund

1.2 Cancellation procedure:
Cancellations must be requested in writing via email. Verbal cancellations will not be accepted.

1.3 Special circumstances:
In the event of serious illness, death of an immediate family member or natural disasters, each case will be assessed individually to determine whether a more flexible cancellation policy applies.

2 - Refunds

2.1 Refund Processing:
Refunds will be processed within 15 business days of cancellation approval.

2.2 Refund method:
Refunds will be made using the same original payment method as the booking.

2.3 Refund limit:
The maximum refund amount will not exceed 90% of the total value of the contracted service, regardless of the circumstances of the cancellation.

3 - Chargebacks

3.1 Chargeback Prevention
Bavaro Dreams Travel strives to provide high-quality services and resolve any issues directly with customers. Customers are encouraged to contact our customer service before initiating a chargeback.

3.2 Chargeback Process:
In the event of a chargeback, Bavaro Dreams Travel reserves the right to:

  • Investigate the complaint
  • Provide evidence to the appropriate financial institution
  • Disputing the chargeback if it is deemed unjustified

3.3 Resolution of chargebacks:
The resolution process can take up to 90 days, depending on the policies of the financial institutions involved.

3.4 Consequences of Fraudulent Chargebacks:
Customers who make fraudulent or unjustified chargebacks may be placed on a list of unwanted customers and may be denied future services.

4 - Booking Modifications

Modifications are subject to availability and may incur additional charges. It is recommended to contact our customer service to evaluate the available options.

5 - Force majeure

In cases of force majeure (such as natural disasters, pandemics, etc.), Bavaro Dreams Travel reserves the right to modify this policy to adapt to extraordinary circumstances.

This cancellation and refund policy is subject to the laws of the Dominican Republic and any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Santo Domingo.
